Cycling from Amsterdam to Yorkshire to beat Blood Cancer

Our Fundraising Challenge

We will be cycling from Amsterdam to Yorkshire between Tuesday 10th July and Saturday 14th July 2018.

Our challenge this year is inspired by a lyric from The Girls Musical ( ) written by Tim Firth and Gary Barlow.

Paul Carless and Tom Stockwell have been raising funds for Bloodwise ( ) - the UK's leading blood cancer research and support charity -  for over 3 years.

Paul was diagnosed with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia at Christmas 2013. After meeting the real WI Calendar Girls in 2014, he and Tom have undertaken challenges to raise vital funds to help beat blood cancer. Read more about the Girls inspiration and influence on the next page.

Why We Are Doing This

Blood Cancer can strike anyone at anytime. Please take a moment to watch a video of Hugo's story.

How You Can Help

In this country, someone is diagnosed with blood cancer every 14 minutes. There is very little Government funding into blood cancer research. It is the 5th most common cancer and the 3rd biggest cancer killer ahead of breast cancer and prostate cancer.

You can help by clicking the Donate button below, which will take you to our Justgiving Campaign page and follow the easy steps there. Every penny really does make a difference!

You can also help by spreading awareness, please share this website with your friends and family.
